Peace!
We usually have Adoration on Thursday with the possibility of going for Confession. Ever since the Pandemic, the Cathedral is not recorded in the catalogue of South Johore’s Advent and Lent Penitential services. Instead what we offer is the possibility of regular Confessions.

主内平安！
我们通常在星期四进行明供圣体，并进行和好圣事。自疫情以来，主教座堂并未被列入柔南铎区的将临期与四旬期集体和好圣事的时间表中。我们目前是定期办和好圣事。

At the Cathedral’s Anniversary of the Dedication Mass, the English homily which was translated and supposed to be projected did not materialise. It was an oversight on our part. Our sincere apologies for this glitch.

During the weekend of the Epiphany, there will be a number of blessings to be done. Epiphany Holy Water, Chalk, Incense and Gold. In the process of blessing Holy Water, we will also bless salt. Therefore, if you so desire, bring gold, incense and salt for blessing.

Holy Week has come and gone but we are not without things to do. In fact, we just managed to schedule in, within the period of the Novemdiales, a memorial Mass for the repose of the soul of the late Pope Francis on Monday.
教区装修更新 - 2025 年 2 月 13 日 亲爱的兄弟姐妹， 主内平安！ 主教座堂的装修工程已进入最后阶段。虽然还有一些未完成的工程，但主教将于2月18日重新祝圣主教座堂。 我们的装修原则兼具保守与前瞻性。我们尽可能地恢复现有的艺术作品，特别是十字架、圣心圣体龛，以及在祭台侧边分别为敬礼上主慈悲与永援圣母的彩绘玻璃。教堂正门外的圣心雕像已修复，并将重新安放在原本放置旗杆的角落。 之前的四块彩绘玻璃目前正在菲律宾进行修复。
Parish Renovation Update - 13 February 2025 Dear brothers and sisters, Peace of Christ! The Cathedral renovation project is in the final stages of completion. There are still some outstanding works but come 18th Feb, the Bishop will re-dedicate the Cathedral. The principles that guided our renovation are both conservative and forward looking. We have restored as much as we can the existing artwork that we have, notably the Cross, the Sacred Heart Tabernacle, the side altars dedicated to the Divine Mercy and the Perpetual Succour stained glasses. The Sacred Heart statue outside the front entrance has been refurbished and it will be mounted at the corner where the flagpoles once were.

As promised we have returned to the Cathedral proper. As you would have noticed, the renovation is far from complete. Works are still being carried out. These are some of the outstanding works yet to be completed.
