English RCIA

As a person searching for spiritual renewal you may have asked yourself questions like:

  • What is it that is attracting me to the Catholic faith?
  • How will my life be different by becoming part of a Catholic community?
  • In what ways will the Catholic faith help me to strengthen my relationship with Jesus?
  • Is God really calling me to take this step at this point in my life?

If these, or questions like these have been on your mind then the RCIA  may help you find answers.

RCIA, or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process by which people who are interested in learning about the Catholic Faith can attend classes and have the opportunity to become members of the Catholic Church.

RCIA is for adults who:
o Are interested in learning about the Catholic Faith
o Have never been baptized
o Have been baptized in another Christian faith and are interested in the Catholic Faith
o Are baptized Catholics who have not yet received the Sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation
o Are married to a Catholic and attend Mass and would like to take the next step to become a member of the Catholic Church
o Are Catholic but want to learn more about their Faith

RCIA is a spiritual formation process beginning in July 2016 and ending with initiation into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil, 2017.

RCIA classes are held
